To Place a Component from a Cell

Select the Place Component from Cell option from either the following locations:
The following dialog displays.
Click the Browse button to navigate to the directory where the cell library is located. Once you select the cell library, the Select Cell dialog will display the available cells as shown below.
As you select a cell from the list, a bitmap image of the cell is displayed in the pane to the right. To place the cell, click OK and select the placement point in the drawing. The orientation of the component, or group of components is defined in the cell so you will not be prompted for that.

If a cell contains multiple components all of components are placed using a single placement procedure. However, once placed, the cell container which binds the components together is dropped which enables the components to be selected and modified individually.
